Nothing makes Dr. Patel and the team at The Denture Center happier than welcoming a new patient into our dental office and watching them change as we improve their health and appearance using a custom-made denture. If you’re ready to come see us, we’re eager to help you, and you can learn more about what to expect by reading over the page below. Be sure to give us a call if you have any questions!
Your first visit will involve a consultation with Dr. Patel as well as him giving you an exam. He’ll ask about what you would like to accomplish by coming to see us, whether it involves extractions, getting a new denture, or upgrading your current one. During your exam, he’ll look closely at every aspect of your mouth as well as take an X-ray. Before you leave this appointment, you and Dr. Patel will have an ongoing care plan in place to help you completely recover your smile using a personally designed prosthetic.
If you’ve never worn a denture before, then you’re likely curious about what the process of getting one actually involves. First, Dr. Patel will give you an exam, and then, he may determine that one or more failing teeth need to be removed to ensure the ideal fit. After your extractions, you’ll be given a temporary denture to wear, and then you’ll be fitted for your final denture once everything heals and shrinks. This prosthetic will need to be regularly adjusted and maintained as the years go by to ensure it keeps a natural appearance and secure fit, and you can always rely on The Denture Center to provide any ongoing care.
If you have dental insurance, then it can likely be used to cover 50% or the whole cost of your denture. We’re proud to say that we’re in-network with many of the most popular PPO plans and take MCNA/Medicaid! To learn how much you can save on your denture with us, be sure to give us a call with your insurance information handy. Once all your questions have been answered, we’ll be happy to file the claim for you.
